Made with 100% cotton heavy-weight fabric, our flaxseed and lavender pillows are perfect for relieving tension in the neck and shoulder area, or to help with a crampy tummy during menstrual discomfort.
The pillow contains golden flaxseed and dried lavender flowers, and is encased in an organic cotton canvas fabric which you can take on and off to put in the wash.
Warm the pillow in the microwave for 45 seconds to one minute, shake, and warm it for another 20 to 30 seconds until it reaches the desired temperature. Flax retains half of its heat after an hour and can be warmed again and again.
Whole flaxseeds provide a gentle, moist heat which promotes healing, and the weight of the pillow combined with the fragrance of lavender is comforting and calming. Used under cover to warm your toes, the pillow will remain warm for hours. It can also be chilled in the freezer and used as a cold pack to soothe fevers or slight inflammations.
The pillow weighs just under two pounds.
